Rosa Grouse - Groundcover Rose
A vigorous ground-cover rose, Rosa Grouse, also known as Komimro has a prostrate, sprawling, trailing habit and sometimes roots as it spreads. The divided leaves are deep green and glossy. The delicate, single, pale pink flowers, 1 ½”/4cm across, with golden stamens, appear in summer; they are scented of musk. This rose does not repeat-flower, but bright red hips appear in autumn, giving a second season of interest. Ground-cover rose Grouse is a tough, disease-resistant rose, particularly useful on banks and slopes.
