Pittosporum Pompom
A small shrub for milder areas, Pittosporum tenuifolium Pompom is an evergreen shrub with dark stems, and a rounded habit. The foliage is glossy, bright green and wavy-edged. In early summer, branching clusters of bell-shaped, deep purple, honey-scented flowers appear. This little shrub is ideal for planting in a container, for topiary, or for making a low hedge; it can also be used in city, courtyard and cottage gardens. Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in summer.
