Sauer Klee
Low-growing Oxalis adenophylla are bulbous perennials, forming a low, slow-growing clump. The leaves are greyish, made of narrow, heart-shaped leaflets. The flowers are pretty, trumpet shaped and solitary, bright rosy-pink, paler in the centre, and with a purple throat; the flowers appear in spring. These are ideal plants for a shady patch in the garden. An easy plant, generally pest-free; it may be liable to rust (a fungal disease). No pruning needed. Oxalis adenophylla holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
