Hosta Bressingham Blue A big, beautiful foliage plant for a partially shaded bed, Hosta Bressingham Blue is a large, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial, with a broad, spreading habit. The big, handsome leaves are grey-blue and puckered. From July to September, beautiful, white, bell-shaped flowers rise above the clump, fading to cream. Hosta Bressingham Blue can also be grown in pots, but add garden soil to your compost mix to discourage vine weevils. Take precautions against slugs and snails, to whom hostas are caviare.
