Daisy Bush Zennorensis
Found at Zennor in Cornwall as a natural hybrid of the New Zealand species, Olearia x mollis Zennorensis is a medium-sized, quite fast-growing, borderline hardy, evergreen shrub, with a rounded, bushy habit. The narrow, sharply toothed leaves, 4”/10cm long, are olive green with white, downy undersides. In May and June, the plant carries clusters of small, white, daisy-like flowers, attractive to pollinators. Daisy bush Zennorensis holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and has won the Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year award. Does well in mild, coastal locations. An easy shrub that only requires light trimming, and is resistant to pests and diseases.
