White Clustered Bellflower
An attractive, pure white clustered bellflower, Campanula glomerata var. Alba is a low, weed-suppressing, vigorous, rhizomatous perennial. It forms a low mound, which will slowly creep outwards, of ovate, slightly toothed, soft green leaves which set off the flowers beautifully From June to August, upright stems carry clusters of pure white, upward-facing flowers, very attractive to pollinators. White clustered bellflower is attractive at the front of a border, but is best along a path or in gaps in paving, where it will suppress weeds and which will keep it in check. Makes a good cut flower.
