Hebe Midsummer Beauty One of the taller shrubby veronicas, Hebe Midsummer Beauty is a medium-sized, upright, evergreen shrub forming a rounded, open mound. The glossy, bright green, elliptical leaves emerge with a purple tinge, and continue to have have purplish undersides. Long spikes of lilac-coloured flowers appear from midsummer to late autumn. An easy, low-maintenance plant requiring minimal pruning. Flourishes near the coast, but may need winter protection in the coldest areas. Hebe Midsummer Beauty holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
