Apple Dick Davies
An Irish heritage variety of early–midseason dessert apple, Dick Davies is believed to have been grown from a pip by a Mrs Rawley in Co. Cork in the early 20th century. The fruit is medium-sized and slightly conical, green to yellowish green with large patches of orange-red with red streaks; flesh soft and white with a rich, tangy taste. Reliable, productive tree, easy to prune. Spur-bearer. Apple Dick Davies is a popular apple and an easy tree to grow.
This Irish Heritage Apple tree was originally saved and propagated by Irish Seed Savers in Scarriff, County Clare.
