Japanese Cedar Vilmoriniana
A very slow growing, dwarf evergreen conifer, Cryptomeria japonica Vilmoriniana is a variety of the Japanese Cedar. Its dark green branchlets made up of scale-like leaves form a dense and neat green globe. Japanese Cedar 'Vilmoriniana' also develops a reddish-purplish colour over Winter making this variety a very popular specimen for a rock/alpine or heather garden. Ideal also for a courtyard or low maintenance garden, bringing evergreen colour to a space. Works well in containers too.
