Burke's of Bordeaux was founded at the turn of the century by Alistair Burke. The Burkes wine range has been essentially created from a long-lasting friendship between Alistair and Xavier Milhade, renowned Bordeaux winemaker and owner of several properties on Bordeaux's right bank . 1 x 75cl   Burkes red Bordeaux, France This wine is a great introduction to Bordeaux wines. This is a Merlot/ Cabernet blend Quite intense fruit on the nose, ripe Blackcurrants and dark plums jump to mind followed by a nice hit of dark chocolate coated red berries. On the nose this wine bursts with zesty green apple and citrus aromas and on the palate its dry and crisp with mouth watering grapefruit and green apple flavours.
