The grapes used for Campillo Reserva Coleccion come from the Villa Lucía estate, which is situated 650 metres above sea level and is home to a continental and Atlantic climate, which ideal for growing grapes. After the harvest has been carried out, the grapes are placed into and incubate in tanks that have a 20,000kg capacity. After fermentation, various macerations take place for a period of 12 days in order to achieve bold tannins and the desired colour. Following this, Campillo Reserva Coleccion spends 22 months in American oak barrels before ageing in the bottle.
