Loom Threading Class In this class you will learn how to thread the Louet Erica 4-shaft loom. Warps will be pre-made and there will be a warping demonstration that you can participate in. (You can bring your own warping frame if you have one and make your own warp) You will then learn how to set up the loom - using the raddle to make sure the warp is evenly spaced across the width of the loom, rolling the warp onto the beam, threading either a straight or pointed draft (students choice), reeding and tying the warp onto the front beam. Then you are ready to start weaving!  It's a 2 day class where once you thread the loom in day 1 you can then weave on day 2.  Time: 10-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. 1hour lunch break (lunch not provided) Where: Arran Street East Craft & Design Studio, 43 Arran Street East, Dublin 7     FAQs Who is this course for? This workshop will suit beginners looking for an introduction to working on loom, or those who have worked with frame looms before and would like to learn how to warp a 4-shaft loom.
