America's biggest-selling premium bourbon, the much-loved Wild Turkey 101 is a richly-flavoured concoction with a mellowness that belies its high strength. This bottling has been aged for at least 6 years before coming out of the barrel at 109 proof, it is only diluted slightly before bottling at 101 proof with plenty of pep. 50.5% ABV.  Tasting Note Very full bodied with caramel toffee and a note of coffee. Oak and baking spices are tempered with a hint of blackberry fruit. When tasted with a dried cranberry more fruit comes out of the Bourbon – ripe apples and pears, but it reduces the caramel and baking spices. When tasted with a pecan some citrus notes come out with a definite allspice note. This is a very complex Bourbon.
