Andrea Da Ponte, in love with nature and its territory, expert on the same level as his brother Matteo, who perfected the techniques of distillation in 1896, giving the prints the first serious “Manual of Distillation”, reproposed then, in four successive editions, until 1935 by the Hoepli of Milan. The “Da Ponte Method”, described in the “Handbook” also with extraordinary drawings by the author, was immediately innovative and very modern and made school, becoming known and appreciated for perfumes, aromas and softness, with products of great balance and elegance. Andrea Da Ponte SpA with its “Don Giovanni Da Ponte” sparkling wine wants to celebrate the works and friendship between Lorenzo Da Ponte and Wolfang Amedeus Mozart, creating new emotions for Prosecco wine lovers. The “Prosecco Frizzante (Sparkling) DOC” comes from Glera grapes which are exclusively cultivated in Veneto, historically destined territory for the Prosecco production. It is made through a natural fermentation in autoclave and it is a light and smooth wine with a soft taste, perfect for aperitifs and seafood dishes.
