Mealy Primrose A stunning low clump forming semi-evergreen perennial native to China. One of the easiest Candelabra Primula to grow and earliest to bloom, pulverulenta is quite impressive with its deep magenta flowers, contrasting red eye and spoon shaped leaf rosettes. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Primula pulverulenta prefers a rich moist or wet soil in partial shade. Mealy Primrose is known for being versatile and reliable. Its well suited in shady beds, under trees or as a marginal in a water garden. Primula pulverulenta has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
