Narrow Hart’s Tongue Fern
With narrower leaves with more deeply serrated edges than the common hart’s tongue fern, Asplenium scolopendrium ‘Angustatum' syn. with Asplenium scolopendrium ‘Angustifolia' is a small, bright green, hardy, evergreen fern which contrasts well with lacier ferns or perennials. Prefers slightly alkaline, moist soils, but will tolerate almost any soil and copes well with dry conditions once established. Narrow hart’s tongue fern will cope with deep shade, and looks lovely at the foot of a stone wall or as part of a woodland planting. Will scorch in full sun.
