Blackcurrant Malling Jet Bred by the East Malling research station in Kent, late Blackcurrant Malling jet is a large, vigorous variety, suitable for larger gardens. The berries are small to medium sized, with a fairly good, slightly acidic flavour, and borne on very long strigs, which makes picking easy.
