Korean Fir
A neat growing evergreen conifer, Abies koreana is slow growing with dark green foliage. On the underside of the needles, the strong white bands form an attractive feature. The Korean fir has attractive, good sized violet-purple cones, even on young plants. The tree can take several years to form a good uniform conical shape but it is one of the most beautiful firs, amenable to most soils, disease resistant and deservedly popular in gardens. Makes a very attractive Christmas tree and will do well in a big pot for many years.
