A beautiful elegant tree to plant in many situations, Pinus wallichiana (also known as Himalayan white Pine) is eventually a large tree with beautiful drooping blue foliage and smooth grey young bark. Despite the common name, it has a fairly large distribution from Afghanistan to Northern India, and eastwards to Tibet and the Yunnan province in China. Eventually yielding attractive long thin cones.
