Laurel Novita
A recently introduced selection of cherry laurel, Prunus lauro. Novita has been bred for its exceptional hardiness and disease resistance. It has all the attributes of common laurel- evergreen, quick, tough, reliable and will take shade.
Any regular free draining soil, not suitable for coastal exposure. The leaves and seeds are poisonous, but are unpalatable and are generally avoided by animals, but worth bearing in mind when deciding where to plant this hedge.
