Montbretia Emily MacKenzie
A plant family known for its tolerant nature, Montbretia are hardy clump-forming deciduous perennials with long, upright, sword-shaped leaves. Crocosmia make an excellent choice for a fast way to add shape and texture below a hedge or in front of walls, looking very well planted en masse. Crocosmia Emily MacKenzie will establish quickly in most sunny or partly shaded gardens. Offering sprays of deep orange and red flowers on tall arching stems, Emily McKenzie is a compact variety, good for groundcover. Looks good mixed with Crocosmia Lucifer and complimented by Kniphofia, Lysimachia or contrasting Blue Agapanthus. Crocosmia are resistant to grazing deer and rabbits.
