Hydrangea Yokudanka A Japanese cultivar, Hydrangea involucrata Yokudanka is a medium-sized, mound-forming shrub, fairly compact, and a good, sturdy plant. The domed lacecap flower heads are borne in July and August; creamy-pink double sterile florets surround the pale primrose fertile florets and turn greenish as they age. Leaves are dark green and slightly bristly. Will not succeed on hot, dry sites or in full sun.
