Coneflower Goldsturm
An excellent, long-flowering plant for the front of the late summer border, Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii Goldsturm (‘Yellow Storm’) is a compact, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with an upright habit. The mid-green leaves are narrowly ovate. From August to October, daisy-like flowers of a rich, deep yellow with dark centres, are borne abundantly above the clump of foliage. Good in a ‘hot’ border, or with the blues of late aconites or Michaelmas daisies. Coneflower Goldsturm holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit and is an excellent plant for pollinators.
