Boston Ivy Green Spring
A very vigorous cultivar of Boston ivy, Parthenocissus tricuspidata Green Spring is a fast-growing, woody, deciduous climber which will cling to a wall or building without support by means of little suckers. The soft, slightly fleshy leaves have three pointed lobes and are bright green, turning blood-red, wine-red and deep purple in autumn. Inconspicuous greenish flowers, popular with bees, are followed by small, dark, non-edible berries. Boston ivy Green Spring is an enormous climber, most suitable for tall buildings or very study trees.
