Daffodil Delnashaugh A late-flowering double daffodil with very pretty colouring, Daffodil Delnashaugh is a fairly tall perennial bulb which will extend the daffodil season. The double corolla is pure white, and the short, broken, fluffy trumpet is in a gorgeous shade of apricot-pink. The flowers, one to two per stem, are sweetly scented and look rather like camellias. Like all pink daffodils, it needs planting in dappled sunlight to develop the pink colouring. Plant bulbs twice the depth of the bulb in September or October, 6” apart. Remove the flower-head, including the seed capsule after flowering. Site: ShelteredSoil: Moist but well-drained, humus-rich soilPosition: Best in dappled shadeSeason of interest: Late springHardiness: Fully hardyHeight: 16-18” (40-45cm) Spread: 6” (15cm)
