Patio Rambler Rose Purple Skyliner A subtly-coloured, diminutive rambler rose, Rosa Purple Skyliner is rather like the fine old rambler Veilchenblau, but repeat-flowering and much smaller, small enough to be grown in soil-based compost in a container on a patio, with support. It’s a deciduous, rambling rose, with a lax habit. The light green foliage is divided into slightly serrated, ovate leaflets. From June until the frosts it bears clusters of moderately scented, soft purple, semi-double blooms with golden stamens; the flowers fade beautifully to mauve and grey. Patio rambler rose Purple Skyliner can be trained on a north wall.
