Blueberry Pink Popcorn
This delightful highbush blueberry has creamy-pink berries flushed deeper pink, but with the true blueberry flavour and aroma. Vaccinium corymbosum Pink Popcorn® is a medium-sized fruiting shrub with a compact growth-habit (to 5’/1.5m high and wide) and ornamental interest from spring to autumn. It produces delicious early to mid-season berries which are very rich in vitamins, anthocyanins and antioxidants. The small leaves are mid-green, and turn glorious shades of red in autumn. Small, urn-shaped white flowers, attractive to pollinators, are borne in April, followed by berries over a long period in July and August. Blueberry Pink Popcorn must be grown in acidic soil, or in ericaceous compost in a large container. Do not allow soil or compost to dry out.
