Rhubarb Victoria
A very old variety of late rhubarb, Rhubarb ‘Victoria’ was named for the young Queen Victoria at her accession in 1837. A big, handsome rhubarb with beautiful stems, raspberry-red at the base, flecked green at the leaf-end, it is ornamental enough to grow in a flower border. The thick stems hold together well when cooked; the flavour is both tart and sweet. Reliable and easy to grow, producing a heavy crop for many years. Give a manure mulch once a year.
