Giuseppe di Camillo is today in the fourth generation, the now 100 years old winery Di Camillo Vini, which offers absolutely excellent wines! What began as a small winery with a few wines has grown into a real top-quality vineyard through the four generations. Tasting Notes: This excellent-value white comes from the Abruzzo region of central Italy where the gentle Adriatic breezes play their part in forming a favourably mild climate of plentiful sunshine and consistent rainfall. The Rocca Antica Bianco is made from a blend of Trebbiano and Chardonnay grapes, and is fermented in stainless steel tanks and is unoaked thereby producing a fresh and crisp white wine. Pale golden in colour with a fresh and mineral nose of lemons and limes. On the palate fresh with some savoury flavours and a hint of honeyed citrus fruits leading to a light and crisp finish. A great aperitif. Also perfect with roast chicken, asparagus with fettuccine cheese or a slice of ripe Brie. Food Suggestion: A particularly good match for fish, risottos and fresh cheeses.
