The "Sugarcube" is hand made in Ireland on a wood lathe. The "Sugarcube" is used for holding sugar. Made in Ash wood. It is finished in an oil finish which both penetrates and protects the wood and is also safe to consume food from it. It can be cleaned with a damp warm cloth, wood should never be washed in a dishwasher or totally submerged in water.
