These show stopping fleur de lis cold porcelain earrings are suspended from a delicate golden bar and finished with a turquoise natural stone bead and matching tassels.  Inspiration taken from the glamorous fashion of the 20's and 30's. They are long and have a lot of movement. The process: I mix and knead all my cold porcelain clay by hand. This is the most physically demanding part of the making. The clay is then coloured in small seasonally themed batches. Each clay piece is formed using minimal hand tools and, once cured, sanded and polished before receiving a final coat of varnish or textured paint to give it a protective layer. This pair is a one-off. All earrings are packaged in a gift box and ships from Ireland. Care instructions: Cold porcelain clay is remarkably strong and will handle normal day to day wear very well. The finished pieces are very light so even larger pieces can be worn comfortably. All earrings have a protective coating but nevertheless they prefer to stay dry, so not suitable for swimming or showers.
