This is our own balanced potting mix we use to ensure strong root growth for a healthy plant. Whether you are growing a plant from a cut-off or repotting your plant into bigger pot, this is ideal for the exotic indoor specimens we have on offer at PlantStore.ie. Our mix is made up of three parts:  a) Compost -  a rich potting peat-compost combo makes the base of the mixture. b) Leca - these organic clay pellets are porous enough to retain excess water yet light enough to allow roots access to water when needed. c) Perlite - this volcanic glass is very light helping to aerate the soil, avoiding compaction in the pot. Perlite also offers water filtration and adds a high mineral content.
