The "Pachycereus pecten Aboriginum" or "Hairbrush Cactus" is a columnar cactus native to Mexico and can grow up to 15m high in the wild.  The fruit is densely covered with long, golden yellow spines up to 6 cm long. The trunk of this species is a singular stem and the fruits are large and prickly. The specific name, "pecten-aboriginum", is from the Latin and means "native combs". It is inspired by the use of the cacti fruits as hair combs.  Care Instructions: Likes lots of bright sunlight Keep away from drafty areas or spaces that experience sudden drops in temperature. Avoid over-watering, water only once top inches of soil is thoroughly dry.  Care Level Rating: Easy  Notes: This variety measures in at approximately 80cm in height. All large plants come with their plastic nursery pot only. Ceramic pots are sold separately.
