The "Pachycereus pecten Aboriginum" or "Hairbrush Cactus" is a columnar cactus native to Mexico and can grow up to 15m high in the wild.
The fruit is densely covered with long, golden yellow spines up to 6 cm long.
The trunk of this species is a singular stem and the fruits are large and prickly. The specific name, "pecten-aboriginum", is from the Latin and means "native combs". It is inspired by the use of the cacti fruits as hair combs.

Likes lots of bright sunlight
Keep away from drafty areas or spaces that experience sudden drops in temperature.
Avoid over-watering, water only once top inches of soil is thoroughly dry.

Notes: This variety measures in at approximately 80cm in height. All large plants come with their plastic nursery pot only. Ceramic pots are sold separately.
