Communication The colour blue represents Communication. The two birds are a reflection on how we as human beings are all very similar but when we look closer or deeper we are all unique individuals. Also what we see in others, traits we admire or dislike can be a reflection of the very same traits in ourselves. Growing up within the local heritage of the Boyne Valley, Colette’s work is inspired by ancient Celtic art.  Colette uses nib and ink to create intricate colourful drawings creating a contemporary interpretation of the iconic imagery of the Book of Kells.
