The fourth in the Little Library series, this book focuses on Kerry man, Tom Crean. Crean is one of Ireland’s lesser-known brave heroes. An adventurous young boy, Tom ran away to join the British Army at just 15 years old. While in New Zealand, he met Captain Robert Scott and would soon join him on his mission to be the first ever person to reach the South Pole. Tom’s journey was far from easy with many ups and downs along the way. Nonetheless his heroic efforts as told in this book earned him the Albert Medal for Lifesaving upon his return. Beautifully illustrated by Fatti Burke and written by her dad John, this is the perfect book for the little adventurer in your life. The Little Library series also includes Granuaile: The Pirate Queen, Brian Boru: The Warrior King, Mary Robinson: A Voice of Fairness and Constance Markievicz: The Rebel Countess.   How does it come?Hardback 25.5 x 20 x 1 cm approx.
