Arran Street East with Clare Mulvany One Day Writing Workshop: Live a New Story  27th May, 2023 This one day writing workshop will explore the power of story, narrative and writing to help navigate our life stories.   Within an intimate and safe environment, we will introduce engaging, creative exercises and writing practices to explore personal narrative and sense-making, all through the exploratory tool of reflective writing.  This workshop is for people who are:  Curious about writing a memoir or personal story Exploring engaging ways to craft their own personal narratives Seeking space and time to discover their writing voice Interested in using writing as a tool to connect with their inner wisdom and intuition Participants  will:  Learn tools for crafting their own personal stories Discover creative ways for into tapping into memory, senses and somatic awareness Have some quiet time to write, and some time to connect and learn from the other participants By the end of the salon, they come away with:  Fresh ideas and insights into their own writing Memoir/personal story writing techniques Inspiration from sharing and listening to other stories  Throughout the day there will be a  mix of creative exercises, and quiet time for writing, as well as sharing. Date: 27th May, 2023 Time: 9.30-4.30 What to bring: Please bring along a notebook/ journal and a pen you enjoy writing with.  About the Host:  Clare Mulvany is an experienced writer, leadership mentor, story-teller and retreat host. Founder of Thrive School, Clare is currently a lecturer in UCD’s Innovation Academy, and Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace, and is passionate about the role of creativity in transformative education.  Clare holds an MSc in International Education from the University of Oxford and is the author of ‘One Wild Life- A Journey to Discover People who Change our World’. Her writing and photography have appeared in On Being, The Irish Times, Transna, Freckle Magazine, among others. She has hosted writing workshops and salons across the world, supporting thousands of learners with their own creative explorations. Alongside this, she is a classically trained hatha yoga teacher, a Social Entrepreneurs Ireland awardee and The Irish Times named her as one of Ireland’s 60 most creative people.  She lives in Schull, West Cork.
