Whether you want fresh and juicy, smooth and rich, big and powerful, or famously elegant from the world's fine wine hotspots. This case is filled with wines we love, wines we're passionate about that offer great value for money as well as being hugely pleasing. all are easy drinking, fruit rich wines. Domaine de Vedlihan Syrah Limited Edition Languedoc, France2 x 75cl BottlesDeep ruby red wine with shallow garnet rim. Pronounced bouquet of stewed jammy fruits with leather and mineral tones. Warm and rich on the palate with firm tannin structure but not aggressive. Lots of fruit with stewed blackberries, plums and a hint of pepper. A big wine with a soft approachable style and a warm mellow finish. Carlos Luca, Cota 700Dao, Portugal2 x 75cl BottlesCarlos Lucas is the man behind the wine, first and foremost a farmer, but now a very talented winemaker with over 25 years of experience across Portugal. He started the estate 15 years ago on an ancient property once owned by the local priest. A stream encircles this quaint vineyard providing protection from the vast neighbouring pine, eucalyptus and oak forest. It surrounds the poor granite soils, perfect for viticulture, and has given it the name "Quinta do Ribeiro Santo" which means "Holy River Estate". Sepp Moser ZwiegeltBurgenland, Austria2 x 75cl BottlesZweigelt Reserve is made from 100% Blauer Zweigelt grapes cultivated in Sepp Moser’s Hedwighof and Hollabern vineyards, which are situated among the gravelly soils of the warm southern Neusiedlersee village of Apetlon. Fantastic colour! The violet rim is typical for a Zweigelt. Fruity and perfumed nose showing blackberries and red cherries. Loads of fruit and layers of spice with a liquoricey finish. All Biodynamic fruit and stainless steel … as pure as it gets! La Pinada BobalUtiel Requiena, Spain2 x 75cl BottlesThe grapes for this juicy and enticing Spanish Red come exclusively from 3 ha of a single parcel called “La Pinada”, growing on alluvial and clay soils. These bush-vines are really old now, planted in 1958, and are one of the key factors that make this so darned good to drink. There is a lovely intensity to the fruit - with no hard edges, no excess weight. Just an easy flow and dangerous drinakability!None of the fruit's bright character is lost to wood as the wine is mostly aged in concrete, rather than the traditional local barrels. Altitude is key too - Utiel Requena is the undisputed capital for fine Bobal - and these old vines at 750m are about as good as it gets, this height combined with the Mediterranean climate are the perfect terroir to get expressive, bright Bobal - a wine you just want to drink. Tardano GarnachaCarinena, Spain2 x 75cl BottlesThe fruit is sourced from old vineyards around the villages of Leaché and Aibar in the very eastern reaches of Navarra, close to the border with Aragon. Later ripening than in neighbouring Rioja, the grapes possess a freshness and vitality that is absolutely delicious. The vineyards are a mix of bush-vine (en vaso) and trellised and a very careful grading of all vineyard parcels is done prior to harvest.  Sidhuri Coccociola Terre di Chieti, Italy2 x 75cl BottlesAn absolutely brilliant wine - Refreshing - clean - pure fruit which is crisp and palette cleansing. if you like Albarino, or picpoul, you will love this. It has green erbaceous notes,  floral elenents on the nose but is dry and crisp. A wonderful wine with or without food.     Total RRP: €204.00 Mixed Case Price: €165.00 Save €39.00 on this case!*From time to time vintages/wines may become unavailable, it is rare but in this instance we will replace the wine with a similar wine of equal or greater value.
