Fragrant Snowball Tree A hybrid, very fragrant shrub, Viburnum x carlcephalum has a deciduous, bushy, ground-covering habit. The ovoid leaves, which are deep green, turn colour in autumn. Large, rounded trusses of pinkish flower buds appear in spring, and open to fragrant, pinkish-white flowers. A surprisingly tolerant shrub, any soil, full sun to full shade, and very hardy. Snowball tree holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
