Pittosporum Victoria
A larger, pretty Pittosporum for milder areas, Pittosporum tenuifolium Victoria is a large, evergreen shrub with dark young stems. The leaves are small, leathery, wavy-margined and grey-green, with an irregular, white margin that turns rosy pink in winter. In early summer, clusters of bell-shaped, deep purple, honey-scented flowers appear. This shrub is good in a cottage or low-maintenance garden or the edge of a woodland setting, or as a hedge. Propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in summer.
