To honour Alexandre Gabriel’s 20th anniversary as Master Blender at Plantation, they created Plantation XO 20th Anniversary using a blend of quintessential extra-old rums from Barbados. This is a sophisticated blend of mature rums which are also partly matured in France — ranging in age from 12-20 years with each component receiving 2-10 of those years ageing in small French cognac barrels. TASTING NOTES Nose : The stunning floral/fruity opening aroma is transcendent, then releases fragrance of vanilla, cocoa and milkchocolate. Palate : The delightful mango notes lend evidence to its advanced age, a result of long maturation in French oak cask.
