Siberian Bugloss Dawson’s White
A variegated form of brunnera or Siberian bugloss, perfect for bringing a splash of light and colour to a shady bed, Brunnera macrophylla Dawson's White is a small, herbaceous perennial, with a clump-forming habit. The heart-shaped, long-stemmed leaves are light green, irregularly edged with creamy-white. In April and May, sprays of pretty, bright blue forget-me-not-like flowers are borne on airy stems above the foliage. Siberian bugloss Dawson’s White needs a cool, moist root run and protection from wind, and will scorch in sun. Lovely with small ferns, tucked against the wall of a bed in deep shade, and makes good ground-cover.
