Eulalia Grass Yakushima Dwarf Smaller than most eulalia or silver grasses, Miscanthus sinensis Yakushima Dwarf is a low, deciduous, warm-season grass with a clump-forming habit, and suitable for the smaller garden. The narrow leaves are green longitudinally striped white, giving an airy feel to the clump. From August to October, arching plumes of feathery, pinky-beige flowers appear above the leaves, and persist into winter. Cut back to the base before growth starts in early spring. Eulalia grass Yakushima Dwarf dislikes winter wet; it’s small enough to be grown in a large container if your soil lies heavy and wet in winter.
