Unlike many Austrian producers who go for an overly rich and sweet style, Fred gets full ripeness in the vineyard yet ferments to dryness, managing to produce wines with lovely definition, zest and balance on the palate. Ageing Potential: Drink Fresh Tasting Note: Pale lemon with a green hue. Intense aromas of pear and green apple are followed by subtle tropical notes. On the palate, fruit flavours are balanced with lovely acidity. Light bodied, the wine is persistent, with a touch of spice on the fresh, crisp finish.
