The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot with 12 month in oak. Drinking well now but will continue to develop for several years to come. A serious and classic Medoc wine. Tasting note: Deep ruby in colour as the wine is still fairly youthful. The nose sings of Bordeaux with concentrated Blackcurrant Cabernet fruit, menthol spice and oak. The palate shows great depth with Blackcurrant, Black Cherry and Blueberry fruit, earthy smoke and woody spice with firm tannins and structure.
