Country: France Region: Cotes de Provence  Varietal: Cinsault, Grenache, Vermentino. Vintage: 2018 Colour: Red Style: Dry Producer: Chateau Pesquie Description:Paradou wines are wines that are to be discovered and shared; they invite you to remember times which you most often forget like meal times or improvised drinks with friends, pick-nicks that are to be enjoyed with friends and family. Frédéric & Alexandre wanted to infuse the wines with the values that are central to the art of living in the South of France. These pleasures are pure and simple, they are those of sharing and of enjoying the small pleasures in life.  Tasting Note: This classic blend is made from grapes that are sustainably farmed on rocky limestone and sandy clay soils. At harvest the grapes are picked by hand in the early morning, cooled at the cellar and pressed whole-cluster to extract the lightest colour possible. The wine is then fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks before bottling. The Cinsault provides this wine’s delicate fruit flavors reminiscent of raspberries and strawberries, the Grenache its colour and spice, and the Vermentino its freshness and acidity.“This beauty is a quintessential rose and offers ripe yet vivid notes of honeydew melon, crisp white peach, limestone like minerality, and subtle salty, sea breeze-like aromas and flavors. It’s beautifully balanced, has terrific purity, high yet integrated acidity, and dry finish. It’s a no brainer and a beautiful dry Provencal rose.91 points."(Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com, April 2019) Food Matches: Red Meat / Soft Cheese / Veal
