The area is known for producing exquisite rosé wines due to its unique location – set between the ocean and mountains, and surrounded by extensive olive groves. As a result, the land is rich in minerals and is particularly calcareous, which contributes to the incredibly smooth flavour of the grapes. The vineyard is located just outside Oppède, next to the Davies’ family home in Ménerbes. The land produces the most stunning wine in this area that was inspiration for Peter Mayle’s classic novel “A Year In Provence”. Domaine des Jeanne is not just about our stunning wine, but also the sophisticated and elegant Provencal lifestyle associated with the area.
