First launched in 2016 Dublin City Gin is a premium handcrafted dry style gin with carefully selected Botanicals featuring Dublin grown Organic Rhubarb. Irish Milk Spirit provides the ideal base for their cherished recipe giving the extra silky finish loved by all who've tasted it. The recipe was conceived by two friends who decided Dublin needed a hometown gin. And rightly so! They set to work on a grand venture. After much time, sweat, and tears tasting the results finally became something to enjoy. The recipe was born! Dublin City Gin is crafted using a selection of local and exotic Botanicals. Through slow refinement these were reduced to a surprising few, a core seven. By design less was indeed more. Led by Juniper our core Botanicals feature Dublin Rhubarb and include zesty Grapefruit, and warm, spicy Cardamon.  For the base they use Irish Milk Spirit derived from "Whey" in cheese production. The resulting combination is a genuinely smooth and lovely gin. The Dublin City Gin Company was established in 2016 and with bottles, boxes, and trademarks in hand they launched their cherished Gin to test the market. To their great delight, it has been acclaimed for quality and taste as an award-winning gin both at home and abroad. A genuine full character gin but a little cheeky too.   Nose: notes of citrus and subtle hint of ripe Dublin Rhubarb.
