Tibetan Peony
A rare version of the Chinese Tree Peony. Paeonia lutea is a stunning flowering shrub perfectly suited at the edge of a woodland or mixed in a border. Large scented yellow, slightly nodding, saucer shaped blooms appear in late Spring. The large attractive deeply divided leaves turn gold in Autumn. Tibetan Peony needs humus-rich well drained soil preferably in dappled shade. A very low maintenance, reliable and hardy woody specimen tolerant of most soil that is popular for brightening the edge of the garden.
