Angel's Fishing Rod
Dierama make excellent showy specimen plants. Dierama pulcherrimum is an evergreen clump-forming perennial with silvery green, grass-like leaves. Tall arching stems burst out in every direction, drooping under the weight of bell flowers hanging like pendants in varying shades from pink to mauve. Due to its shape and size, Angels Fishing rod is often used as a focal point in planting schemes. Looks well at home in the gravel garden alongside ornamental grasses. Resistant to grazing deer and rabbits. Attracts bees and butterflies.
