Redcurrant Red Lake
A very popular mid-season variety of redcurrant, ‘Red Lake’ is a fairly vigorous, medium-sized, upright bush which gives very reliable, heavy crops of very large, well-flavoured, juicy berries carried on long ‘strings’, which makes them very easy to pick. Don’t plant in a frost pocket, as it flowers early in the year. Good disease resistance. Redcurrant ‘Red Lake’ has been given the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
